Sketches made in procreate to get an idea for some of the shapes and elements I'd want to incorporate into the project.
Original spread sketch. The only thing I really kept from this layout was the Future Farming title. Everything else was repurposed to work in other ways and incorporate more of the farming into it. I also wanted to find a way to make it brighter and visible, despite being underwater. I also didn't want to lose the central structure to the centerfold of the magazine.
